LA-based rave pop collective Little Big have teamed up with vocalist Pixl Girl for the new single, ‘21’. It’s an instantly addictive pop track that wears its nostalgic yet futuristic sound on its sleeve. Musically, it’s fast-paced and playful, underpinned by an almost post-punk driving bass line in the chorus before switching to half time for the explosive, chant-along chorus. “Little Big approached me to feature just before my 21st birthday,” says Pixl Girl. “And we filmed the day after I turned 21 - so this song has truly become a time capsule of that moment in my life. In America, 21 is such a milestone. The chorus feels like counting the years I’ve been here, and though adulthood is scary, this track is a reminder to celebrate the journey.
